Monday October 30, 2023, as part of the qualifications for the first edition of the Gold Cup W 2024, from the Confederation of North America, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF) zone, our Grenadières in the Group C faced the "Sugar Girls" of St Kitts & Nevis in Basseterre on the lawn of the "SKNFA Technical Center".

For the return match against St Kitts & Nevis, coach Frédéric Gonçalvez announced a starting lineup almost identical to that of the first match won [11-0] by Haiti. The only change, Nahomie Ambroise, starter against Costa Rica [1-0] in September, is back in the cage.

Summary:

The Grenadières were relentless, severely correcting the "Sugar Girls" of St Kitts & Nevis, whom they crushed without difficulty. A quintuple during this match from Batcheba Louis who pulverized the defense of Saint-Kitts and Nevis opening the score in the 8’ [1-0].

Outclassed by Haiti, the "Sugar Girls" remained powerless to prevent our Grenadières from breaking through their defense and finding their net... at half-time the score was [6-0] in favor of Haiti.

Returning from the locker room, the "Sugar Girls" faced Grenadières who were too strong for them, lost at the end of the match [13-0]. Three victories in as many matches for our Grenadières in League A counting for the qualifiers for the 2024 Women's Gold Cup which thus consolidates their first place in Group C with 9 points and a comfortable goal difference.

Please note that in the event of a draw or victory against Costa Rica in the return match, our Grenadière will validate their ticket for the 2024 Gold Cup.
